If you are new here I welcome you. lads, to OutPush. If you don't know the purpose behind this blog, I recommend reading content About. So that you get a clear picture of what we are trying to do.

Observe:

Start observing your surroundings. If you are walking on a street don't stare on your phone or dream about something else. Examine what's near you, what kind of activities people are doing, etc.

One Approach to improve your observation:

Consider all angles. Don't examine any object/things from only your point of you.

For example, a normal person's point of view would be just a narrow street for the above picture.  But Parkour people examine height, length of buildings and entry and exit place of the street. That's a different point of view to the same picture.

Sherlock holmes examine everything in ALL POINT OF VIEW. That increases interest within him to observe even more.
OUTPUSH Idea✌:

Be actively present and observe your surroundings.  Examine-in all points of view to gather more information about the problem.

Connect all your data:

After gathering you need to connect together and analyze the data.

Analyzing helps you to get meaningful information from your data. So, you can remove all unnecessary data.

When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth

OUTPUSH Idea✌:

After observing remove all unnecessary and irrelevant information. It causes complexity in finding a solution to the problem.

Be Open-minded:

Assuming something as correct even though it doesn't support evidence is one major problem. This happens if you lack information. Structure your data and if you feel a lack of data look for more information.

OUTPUSH Idea✌:

Don't take any decision or come to a conclusion unless you are 100 percent sure.

Learn daily:

Learn daily and note down everything you observe.

Say no to overconfidence. It keeps you away from observing fully making you jump into a conclusion without confirmation.

OUTPUSH Idea✌:

Note down everything you observe. Jump into a conclusion only if you are 100 percent positive.

Improve your memory:

To memorize all information he observed, Sherlock holmes uses mind palace.

A virtual place in his memory where he stores all his information. That technique helps him whenever he needs information.

For normal people, using mind palace is not an easy task. It needs a lot of practice.  But to think 🤔 like Sherlock holmes you need to improve your memory.

There are many games available on mobile to improve your memory.

OUTPUSH Idea✌:

Play games that make you multitask like sudoku, crossword to improve your memory. and chess to improve your focus and thinking.

Thinking 💭 :

There are three types of thinking sherlock holmes use,

                                                   Inductive reasoning
                                                   Deductive reasoning
                                                   Abductive reasoning

Inductive reasoning:

Identifying all possible solutions to a problem and choosing the best one based on the probability of occurrence.

Deductive reasoning:

Using Intuition to identify a solution to the problem. Most humans are very good at deductive reasoning.

For example, if someone is experiencing fear he/she is nervous or if someone is crying he/she is sad.

Abductive reasoning:

Using both inductive and deductive reasoning. This is the most preferred method sherlock holmes use.

OUTPUSH Idea✌:

Structure your problem and train your mind to think in all the above types of reasoning.
